Check this section regularly to find out what the ChefsWorld
team are working on. If you have any ideas or suggestions for
the site, or comments on our future development, please

Our current developments include:
ChefsView
With ChefsView we facilitate interaction between chefs and the
public. The chef will be able to list the property he or she
works in or owns and describe what he is trying to create in
his kitchen with his team; there would also be a voice-recorded
option so the chef could talk about his menu. The public would
then be able to access the site and based upon what they feel
like eating that particular day will be able to access your
advert, see your site and make a booking.
The whole aim behind this is to create a guide to eating out
based on the chef, his team and his food. The entry would be
free for the chef unlike all the other guides, which you have
to pay ridiculous amounts to be featured in.
ChefsWorld Chefs Fund
During foot and mouth I owned a small restaurant (30 covers) in
the Lake District, over night the business was in trouble and
just paying my own lights, water and electric became a
nightmare. It dawned on me that there is no support for chefs.
Sure there are all your associations about but they don’t
provide any aid when you really need it.
The only people who understand what we do every day and how
tough it is, is another chef. Therefore the Fund will be from
voluntary donations from members and other sources to help
chefs in times of need. This could range from a commis chef
needing help to buy his first set of knives to a chef losing
his arm in a car accident.
Through the ChefsWorld Chefs Fund we can help ourselves by
helping each other.
ChefsWorld International
This speaks for itself, depending on the interest from other
international chefs we will respond by opening up sites in
their particular country, but still linked to ChefsWorld to
ultimately link all chefs globally.
ChefsBay
ChefsBay will be a venue to globally advertise items for sale
within the chef community. |
