Win an iPad 2 with Aviko’s new Website

Caterers have the chance to win an iPad 2 with the launch of Aviko’s exciting new website.

Developed by Europe’s leading potato products manufacturer, www.aviko.co.uk has been designed to support caterers in delivering an inspiring potato offering and features downloadable recipes, culinary advice, a handy Productfinder search facility and an innovative new consumer insight function.

The “five consumer experiences” is a key feature of the new website; which evaluates the most important consumer trends that are shaping the foodservice industry. The portal allows caterers to review their menus from these five different perspectives to discover products that reflect changing consumer needs.

To celebrate the launch Aviko is giving caterers the chance to win an iPad 2 simply by signing up to their quarterly newsletter. The newsletter is filled with all the latest news, recipe ideas, trends and potato market updates; caterers can find out about the extensive range of potato products on offer, as well as request samples to discover for themselves why Aviko is the chef’s choice when it comes to potato accompaniments.

All this has been designed around an easy-to-use search engine allowing caterers to find their choice of product, menu or recipe with the minimum of fuss.

Aviko General Manager, Mohammed Essa, comments:

“As a foodservice authority, Aviko understands successful catering is a combination of the right products and insight. This website is about sharing our knowledge and being a partner in the kitchen when it comes to choosing the best potato accompaniments for the job. The interactive site allows us to communicate with our customers to help them maximise profits and develop menus that meet the needs of the market.”

The launch of the new Aviko website is the latest of a number of initiatives from the dedicated foodservice manufacturer. Earlier this year Aviko introduced a low emission transport fleet and joined the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil with a declared ambition to be using 100%-certified palm oil by 2015 - making it the first company in the chilled and frozen potato category to be a member of this global initiative
