College or Apprentiship

I am just about to start out in the industry and really want to get the best possible route, I have the offer of an Apprentiship in the pub that Im a pot washer in, its got a really good rep for food and runs a 50 cover restaurant.

I have also been accepted on a 3 year Professional Chef course at college.

What do you as Chefs prefer when you are looking to take staff on?
