ISOMALT

hi guys i am new to theses forums and mainly came here for a bit of information about isomalt... i have one main question... can i flavour it with saaay lime juice?
and for those of you who dont know what it is heres some info - http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-isomalt.htm
basically a substute for suger in sugar work.

i understand that you can put dry ingredients into isomalt (spices etc)
am unsure about liquid tho.
you could make lime powder?

zest limes, boil in a strong stock syrup 15 mins, dry out til hard. blitz and sieve.

just a suggestion.


plus there is a product out there called ab-zorbit powder which turns liquid to powder (your lime juice perhaps?)
